PPI Beauty is an entrepreneurial, privately held / private equity backed company that creates and distributes makeup tools and body care accessories in over 60 countries. The company has been recognized on Inc's Top 5000 fastest growing privately held companies to work for 3 years in a row. The company's three core brands are EcoTools®, Real Techniques®, and Freeman Beauty®. EcoTools® is a leader in eco-conscious beauty products, most notably for incredibly soft cosmetic brushes but also offers a line of hairbrushes and bath accessories.

Since its launch in 2011, Real Techniques® is the number one makeup brush brand on YouTube, the leading share brand in the UK, and the Miracle Complexion Sponge is the #1 beauty tool in the US. All brands are available from key retailer partners such as Walmart, Target, Ulta and Amazon.com.

My role on the Digital and Integrated Marketing team at PPI Beauty allowed for me to nourish my creativity and passion for the beauty space.

Modern Luxury Media

Reaching an audience of more than 16 million, Modern Luxury Media is the nation’s largest luxury media company offering leading brands access to the most affluent audiences. With 85+ publications across 22 markets, Modern Luxury delivers brands powerful marketing solutions.

My role as Marketing Coordinator in Modern Luxury’s Chicago office has been an opportunity full of unprecedented learning and growth.

Modern Luxury Chicago produces a total of 7 magazines, peppered with local and national editorial content, along with fashion and luxury content from our New York office.

I personally worked on all 7 Chicago publications. My role included managing digital marketing elements, running social media platforms, planning luxe events, working with celebrity and influencer talent, along with hiring , training and managing candidates within the Chicago-based marketing internship program. 

I efficiently communicated across all departments working closely with the following; the editorial team and VP of Social Media to streamline and create social content, the design team to create invitations and event advertisements, the sales team to work directly with clients and the production team to create in-book and digital marketing elements.

I made lasting connections and references at Modern Luxury and am happy to share those upon request. Below you can find some of my work for each of the Chicago publications.
